This is a personalised tour conducted in private cars for both business and leisure travellers and can start on any day as per the choice of our guests.  

Delhi- Mandawa- Samode- Jaipur- Agra- Delhi. 

Duration: 6 nights/ 7 days

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival at Delhi where our representative will meet you and facilitate you to check in at the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing in Delhi

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to visit Old Delhi- the former center of Mughal power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Visit the Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. Also see the biggest mosque in India the Jama Masjid, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1658. Then drive through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk to get a feel of the royal life of the Mughal emperors.
Post lunch you will be taken to see the “New Delhi” which came into existence much later, and is also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing the India Gate, The Presidential House, Secratariat, Parliament House and many other buildings in that area.
Drive on to see the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3: After breakfast drive from Delhi to Mandawa and check in at the hotel Castle Mandawa.

Later visit the Shekhawati region, which was the stronghold of Kayamkhani Nawabs till 1730. Besides the cenotaphs, wells, forts and temples the majority of frescoes are painted on the walls and gateways of Havelis. The havelis are mansions of a unique residential architectural style that evolved around courtyards to serve the purpose of family security, privacy for the women as also protecting the inhabitants from the long, harsh summers. The enormous Havelis with fascinating murals built by the wealthy Rajasthani merchants ("Marwaris") in the 19th century.

Day 4: Mandawa- Samode- Jaipur
After breakfast drive from Mandawa to Samode which is a quaint village of Rajasthan adorned by a very beautiful hotel Samode Palace which is worth a visit. The Samode Palace as the name suggests was a palace for the king of Samode (a small village of Rajasthan). Later the Palace was taken over and converted into a Hotel. See the beautiful Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors), in Samode Palace, and enjoy a leisurely lunch in the restaurant. One can also visit the other property called Samode Bagh nearby. 

After lunch drive on to Jaipur a mere half hour drive and check in at the hotel. Evening free to explore the city famous for its textiles and jewellery.

Day 5: Full day sightseeing and shopping in Jaipur. 

Start the day with a visit to Amber Fort & Palace, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honoured fashion. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families.Visit the City Palace in the heart of the old city which is the former royal residence that houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and an armoury of the Mughals and the Rajputs.
Near the Palace is Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories. Also visit the landmark of the “Pink City” the Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds, built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch the processions passing in the street without being seen.
Evening can be spent in strolling in the many streets or lanes of the Bazaar to pick up gifts and memorabilia. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Jaipur to Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra and en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century and soon after abandoned by him. Arrive at Agra and check in at the hotel.
Visit Taj Mahal to enjoy the beauty of the monument at sunset. Evening free and at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Agra to Delhi Visit the Agra Fort which lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of town. It was built by Emperor Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.
Start the drive back to Delhi after lunch and visit Sikandra the Mausoleum of King Akbar, which is just outside the gates of Agra. Late evening arrive at Delhi and drop off at Hotel or airport for onward journey.
