Jaipur is a beautiful town that sits at the heart of Rajasthan like a crowning jewel
of the state. The beauty of the city lies mostly in its ornate houses and ancient
palaces that have been around for more than two centuries. Sightseeing in Jaipur
and Jaipur Tours are wonderful and humbling experiences.
Jaipur’s opulence and heritage is sure to make a lasting impression on you.
There are many amazing pieces of architecture that will simply take your breath
away. Take the Hawa Mahal for example. This palace of winds was built so that the
royal women could look at the streets without being seen and the name is derived
from its numerous windows, which easily count to over a hundred.

Then you have the amazing Jantar Mantar. Built by Raja Sawai Man Singh, this is
an amazing piece of Indian ingenuity and skill. It is an open-air astronomical observatory
that uses high precision architecture to aid in the observation.
Then you will visit the current residence of the royal family, the city palace.
Some of the rooms are open to visitors and it also has a museum. The city palace
has a large collection of rare paintings, old weapons, jewelry and carpets. It is
a magnificent place to visit and when you are in Jaipur it is a sight you must see.
Then you shall see the fort of Victory, the Jaigarh Fort. Located atop a hill overlooking
the city, it was actually a self-sufficient military structure with a number of
palaces, a canon foundry, granary, temples etc. It is also the home to the largest
canon in the world – the Jai Ban (the Victory Arrow).
